This private beachfront campground is on the river, it couldn’t be more perfect. We camped out for the first time with our 2 and 4 year olds during one of their “Glampouts”. I kayaked for the first time with my 4 year old daughter, it was easy and a fun experience. We are already planning a group event for our family and friends less than a month from when we went!

The Glampout was a lot of fun! Great value for the money. It was our first kayaking experience but we’ll definitely go back again! And super close to Starved Rock State Park if you want to do some awesome hiking before heading home!

We had a great time camping with this group. We had our own campsite but participated in the group events. They really made it feel like a community but we were also able to do our own separate things as well. We had a community bbq and they had a fire and movie everyone had so much fun!

Join other Rivian owners and employees at this spectacular event! Come to Starved Rock Country and enjoy some of the best kayaking, hiking, fishing, biking and camping in the Midwest! We will be setting out to explore the towering St. Peter’s sandstone bluffs and catch a glimpse at soaring Bald Eagles and Great American White Pelicans! Come early and enjoy fishing from our shoreline or hike some of the 13+ miles and 18 canyons of Starved Rock State Park. After our Private Guided Kayak Tour settle in and relax while we do ALL of the cooking for YOU! After dinner enjoy one of our group campfires or watch the movie under the stars. Enjoy our 5 Million star accommodations and wake up to the smell of Starbucks coffee brewing and hot pancakes, scrambled eggs and sizzlin’ sausage. Don’t have a tent we have tent rental available and also sleeping cushions for purchase.
