Our campground rules are designed to promote a family-friendly and safe camping experience for everyone at Kayak Starved Rock Campground, one of the top spots for Starved Rock camping in Illinois.
We reserve the right to evict anyone without refund for improper behavior or failure to follow our campground rules and regulations.
Check-In and Identification
All campers must check in and show ID at the Kayak Starved Rock Campground rental office. Every guest must sign a waiver and receive a parking pass and wristband. Wristbands must be worn at all times, and all vehicles must display a parking pass on the dashboard. Anyone in the camp area must have a wristband visible.
You must be 21 years old to make a camping reservation. If anyone in the group is under 21, a person 20 years older must be present at all times during the stay.
Quiet Hours and Behavior
No generators are allowed at any time. Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. No vehicular entry or exit is permitted between these hours. Children must be at their campsite by 9:00 PM. Violation of this rule may result in eviction without refund and a permanent ban from future camping.
No music through speakers is allowed at any time.
If your vehicle does not have a parking pass, it will be towed at your expense.

- Vehicles must stay on the gravel pads near your campsite; no driving within tent areas.
- The speed limit in the campground is 10 MPH.
We offer Jumbo wood bundles for sale ($8) at the front office. Campers are not permitted to use any wood larger than 3 inches in diameter found within the campground for fires.
Fire, Swimming & Safety
Only fires within designated fire rings are permitted.
Swimming is prohibited on any beach in the campground. You may wade up to your thighs, but children must wear life jackets and be supervised at all times.
Glass containers are strictly prohibited. Garbage must be bagged and placed into the dumpster located opposite Campsite #3 before leaving. Leaving trash behind will result in a $50 cleaning fee.

No axes, chainsaws, firearms, fireworks, drones, or metal detectors are allowed.
No ATVs, dirt bikes, motorized scooters (battery or gas), or generators are permitted.
